A GOOD SPEAKER WILL MAKE YOU THINK A GREAT SPEAKER WILL MAKE YOU FEEL
A PHENOMENAL SPEAKER WILL CREATE CHANGE AND TRANSFORMATION
Pretty powerful, and rhetorical, huh?! I always say that you are the one who decides whether to be good or phenomenal (it applies to every area in your life). Let me introduce you to a woman who will change and improve your communications skills once and forever.
Sonia is an inspiring and captivating speaker who has given over 300 powerful presentations to audiences between 100-600 guests.
Sonia is passionate about teaching communication and public speaking in the most positive, empowering, and uplifting way. I was at her masterclass, and I saw how passionate, professional and phenomenal she is. Sonia believes that the art of speaking could elevate all areas of our lives. I agree with Sonia, and I think that how you say something matters more than what you say.
Here are some tips from Sonia Maslovskaya that I've learned during the public speaking webinar on HOW to say, and I kindly want to share them with you:
UNDERSTAND YOUR EMOTIONS
Identify SPECIFIC emotions: know what emotions you want your audience to feel - compassion, sadness, hope. Express your emotions, and know what emotions to show.
Engage in an emotional connection! Call and response are crucial.
Engage in all senses, sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.
Identify emotions you need to succeed.
Allow yourself to be inspired by your emotions.
build a strong connection
Start with a question, story, quote, unique fact.
Share something deeply personal.
Don’t think about your responses. Listen to important verbal cues.
BE INVOLVED
Ask questions throughout the talk.
Make the audience feel as if you are having a dialogue with them.
If you are afraid of public speaking, then I have good news for you. The first one is that you are a human who has feelings. Hurrah! You are alive!
Sonia recommends asking yourself these powerful questions before giving an important speech:
Why am I afraid? What is the worst thing that may happen?
Be honest with yourself. Face your fears. Remember, awareness is the first step in transformation.
You may also use the affirmations before you speak:
"My voice matters"
"I have a message my audience will benefit from"
"I am an expert in my field"
"I will speak with confidence"
Write the affirmations down to your favorite journal, notes on your phone, or record your voice and listen to it before an important meeting or giving a speech.
Remember that it's POSSIBLE to overcome glossophobia (speech anxiety), improve your communication skills and share your ideas boldly, and without apology by practicing, practicing, and PRACTICING with a public speaking coach.
Last but not least, advice from Sonia which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE
"You can never go wrong when following your passion".
To my mind, Sonia did a PHENOMENAL job empowering us, women, to speak with confidence and staying in our feminine power during the webinar. I strongly recommend you to take her 4-week public speaking course, Awaken Your Voice that comes with a bonus of a complimentary 90-min private coaching session. The course consists of four 90-minute sessions that will be conducted virtually in small group settings every Sunday between April 25th – May 16th, 2021.
Sonia will deliver a unique and memorable experience with excellence and elegance. Don't believe me? Check it out yourself!

Besides being a great public speaking coach, Sonia contributes to our world by combating human trafficking. I am DELIGHTFUL to support women who look with me in the same direction. Sonia has similar core values to mine; she stands for human rights and donates 10% of all proceeds to organizations that combat human trafficking and modern slavery. She works with several nonprofit organizations to improve the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people around the world and I CELEBRATE such women who CARE. And you?
